I love my children’s masterpieces. I bet you do too! They are adults now, but I have kept several pieces. I also have a few things I made as a child, along with some pieces my husband’s mother saved from his childhood. Mothers are the same everywhere, aren’t they? My piece is the very beautiful clay bowl! I once used it to hold my rings. I’ve always thought my son’s bear and dinosaur, as well as my daughter’s Egyptian sarcophagus, were especially fun. Displaying your child’s drawings around the room also invokes the idea that you are in a museum.
Over the years, my husband and I have received several homemade Christmas ornaments from our children. I even have ornaments I made and my mom saved. For the Christmas centerpiece, I purchased white boxes online and tied them with ribbon and silver tree fronds from an old aluminum Christmas tree. This is the perfect centerpiece for a children’s holiday table. Showcasing your child’s artwork encourages their confidence and lets them know you are proud of them. After all, their art looks like it belongs in a museum!
