Howard is my family name on my paternal grandmother’s side. My father’s name was Howard and it is my son’s middle name. One day while perusing treasures at a thrift store, I picked up a cheery Santa and turned it over to look at the price. When I saw that it was made by Holt Howard, I immediately liked it more! Whenever I see any other Santa Kings pieces, I snap them up as fast as I can. Those eyes are so mischievous and elegant at the same time! They sport the aqua blue color popular at the time and the triangle beards are so whimsical they are perfect for holiday desserts.
